Laced up.

Louise saw the potential is this early sixties illusion vintage lace dress with its tulle front panel and original sash and bow on the back. It needed some work, so we set about making it perfect by opening the back and taking some of the fullness out of the waist by paneling the skirt, and giving lots of love to the bow and sash. We made a birdcage veil with a chiffon bow to match the sash, appliqued some lace from the dress to it and added a petticoat to complete the outfit for Louise's very cool city wedding.

“I really can’t thank you both enough for all your help with my wedding dress, you have amazing vision and talent and so much enthusiasm that you made buying my wedding dress one of the most special parts of planning my wedding. Luke commented that my dress surpassed his expectations and I had so many wonderful comments about it both on the day and after, in fact some of my friends have told me they showed the pictures to work colleagues! My dress was so comfortable and I felt beautiful in it all day. I will miss coming back to FCNK a lot, but I hope that some of my friends will be coming your way in the next few years (as I haven’t stop telling them how wonderful the experience was) so fingers crossed I’ll be able to come back too! Lots of love, Louise”
