Lady lilac.

Lorna came in the try dresses on and it soon became very clear Lorna loved purple. And that from then on she'd be known as Lorna Lilac. We all knew the second she tried this beautiful organza fifities dress with printed lilacs that it was the one for her. We made a really full petticoat edged in purple on to which with stitched some beautiful motifs from her mum's wedding dress. We made a two tone purple silk sash with bow and a fifities short-edged veil. Just about every time Lorna came to see her dress, she cried – in a good way. At one of the last fittings we had a played with jewellery and it just had to be this pretty purple flower necklace. The perfect outfit for messing about in boats!

"Hello Ladies!!! I'm not sure why you always catch me when I'm tired and emotional but I always seem to cry when I come in your shop!! They are always good tears though. Thank you so much for my dress, it is beautiful. Everyone who sees the pictures always comments on how amazing my dress is and how it is so nice to see something different. I couldn't imagine having worn anything else - the dress was just exactly perfect. Everyone loved it, especially the detail of Mum's roses on the petty coat. We are still planning on renewing our vows in Vegas with Elvis so I hopefully I'll be back soon for a wiggle dress!!! Lots of love Lorna Lilac xxx"
